IST INNJA DAY Celebrated in Kathmandu!
Journalists were honored with different awards

First INNJA DAY celebrated in Kathmandu on March 1st 2020 with various activities!

On the occasion chief guest Deputy Prime Minister Ishwor Pokharel has warded reputed and newly INNJA Awards to the deserving journalists.

INNJA has honored reputed Literate Pro Chudamani Regmi (ChuMaRe) with Scholarly  Literary award. Also journalists Menuka Dhungana and Prakash Singh from western Nepal were jointly awarded with Community Journalism Award.

INNJA would like to thank noted song writer and educator Mrs Ambika Gurung, USA and entrepreneur Sunita Khatri, USA for sponsoring INNJA Literature Award and INNJA Community Journalism Award.

Likewise, INNJA awarded youth journalist Mr. Ajaya Babu Shiwakoti with the INNJA Investigative Journalism Award for 2020 for his acclaimed reportings.

Likewise INNJA has coordinated to collect and hand over about 18 Lakhs Rs to cancer victim Journalist Mr. Kamal Poudel on the occasion. Mr Poudel worked as a reporter for Nepal Samacharpatra daily for a long time and currently working as a News Bureau chief of Birat Television.
